Due to moving, it has been quite awhile since my last post. Many apologies! The stress of moving, unpacking, and STILL organizing! has begun to take its toll on me. I am feeling weary and it is only the beginning of the week. Despite both the excitement and frustrations the move has brought, one thing remains. This is that, I am grateful to all of our wonderful friends who helped us pack, carry boxes in the 100 degree heat, and pick-up and put together tedious, uncooperative furniture. MANY, MANY THANKS!
In times of high stress, it can be difficult to recognize what we have to be grateful for because we are so focused on what is missing, or not going right. We tend to give way to our feelings of frustration without ever acknowledging the good we have right now. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude can help us to soften even our deepest aggravations, allowing us to appreciate what we have in the present.
What do you have to be grateful for today..?
